Formerly, the Canal from Nantes to Brest was used for commercial navigation, today it is replaced by tourist navigation.

Let yourself go along the canal from Nantes to Brest for a boat ride that is rented without a license and allows you to discover the territory of lock in lock at your own pace. 5 nautical stops will allow you to dock for a few hours one night or more … Pontivy, Rohan, St Gonnéry, Gueltas and St Thuriau.

The towpath on which the horses haul the boats now allows the walk on foot, on horseback, by bicycle.
